General Sessions

Wesley Arnes // Calvin HOffman

general session Speakers

Wesley is currently serving as a Youth Pastor at the Anchorage Baptist Temple. He began serving in youth ministry in 2011 and has his Bachelor of arts in Biblical Studies.  Wesley’s role at ABT gives him the opportunity to communicate to students of all ages on a weekly basis.  He is passionate about seeing the next generation take their faith to the next level.  Wesley is a sports junkie, sneaker enthusiast, and is proud to be Alaskan grown.  But more than anything he loves being a husband to his wife Taylor, and a dad to their daughter Ellie.

Calvin serves as a Youth Pastor at ABT as well as the Chief Operating Officer at Anchorage Christian Schools. He loves basketball, snow machining, four wheeling and getting to know people and their stories. He is a loving husband and father who is passionate about making disciples and teaching others how to make disciples too. He wants to encourage others to share in His love of God and the truth of His word.

Jared Hall

Jared Hall is a Fusion favorite! Jared uses illusions and comedy to present the gospel of Jesus Christ in relevant, engaging ways. Traveling extensively across the nation, Jared performs his illusions for many conferences, festivals, outreach events, youth camps, and Upward award nights. He has shared the stage with many artists including Chris Tomlin, Louie Giglio, Kristian Stanfill, David Crowder, Third Day, Switchfoot, Jamie Grace, Toby Mac, and Lecrae.

Break Out Sessions

Our breakout classes are taught by youth leaders from around the state, these are for training students. Some breakout classes that we have had in the past are: Biblical Manhood, Defeating Anxiety: How God Can Help, Can We Really Trust the Bible, Sharing Christ without Freaking Out and College Prep. Don’t worry though, we have a special breakout class for youth leaders/pastors!

Fusion is a general admission event, so we are unable to prorate for partial attendance. Main session and concert seating are first come first serve.

We are providing lunches on campus for Thursday and Friday. Your group will need to make arrangements for dinner. *If any of your group has any allergies, they may not be able to participate in the lunches.

There is always security staff on campus for our safety, but they are not responsible for any of your group or their belongings. The adult leaders that you bring are the main supervision for your youth group.

We encourage youth groups to sit together! This is a time for students to grow and be equipped together as a youth group, and to make epic memories with students from around the state!

We have found that it works best to have a plan and to communicate times and locations when your students need to regroup after breakout sessions, mealtimes and concerts.

No. Thursday’s worship night is an exclusive experience for our conference attendees.

Yes, we have limited housing options at our facility. Please email Pastor Wes at info@fusionalaska.com to make arrangements.
